Walid Raad: 2023-2024 Solomon Fellow

In part, an artist and a Professor of Art in The Cooper Union, and Distinguished Visiting Professor of Photography in Bard College (2023-2024). The Solomon Fellowship invites artists, filmmakers, and critics with strong visions and voices, embedding them into the life of the Department of Art, Film, and Visual Studies. Fellows interact with students and faculty through class visits, workshops, and a public presentation, deepening the impact of visiting artists through student engagement. The Fellowship, a generous gift of the Solomon Family, extends visiting artists' involvement in the life of the Department and the University at large.
