Summer 2023 Architecture Tours of the Carpenter Center
Join the first series of Public Building & Architecture Tours of the Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts, housed within Le Corbusier’s only building in North America, led by architecture students. Walkthrough and learn more about the layered history of the building, its brutalist and modernist structural features, and the educational and cultural legacy of the Carpenter Center at Harvard University.
Access
Tour groups will meet on Level-1 of the Carpenter Center (down the stairs from 24 Quincy Street and through the glass vestibule). An elevator is available on Level 1 of the Carpenter Center, and limited number of wheelchairs are available for loan.
Tours are open to individuals, as well as small groups. Each tour can accommodate a total of 15 individuals. If you are a large group, please email: ccva@fas.harvard.edu to inquire about alternative dates.
