In the Graduate School of Design Special Collections, artists Katarina Burin and Amie Siegel came upon a strange 1940s Harvard Commission—stereoscopic slides of architect Walter Gropius’s house in Lincoln, MA, replete with accompanying narrated captions. A single performance of the slides and narration will take place within the exhibition, preceded by a talk by Laura Frahm, Assistant Professor of Visual and Environmental Studies, on the intertwined histories of the Bauhaus and the Carpenter Center.
